Volleyball Game Preview: Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders vs. Sullivan Redskins

The Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders will take on the Sullivan Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Arthur-Okaw Christian will be strutting in after a win while Sullivan will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Arthur-Okaw Christian narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Peoria Christian 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Conquering Riders.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Arthur-Okaw Christian who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 24-26, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Sullivan came up short against Unity Christian on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Redskins have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17.

Arthur-Okaw Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-5-1. As for Sullivan, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Arthur-Okaw Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Sullivan in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Conquering Riders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redskins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
