Volleyball Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short at Home Against Mcgregor

Chilton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the McGregor Bulldogs on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Chilton was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

McGregor's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chilton is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Rosebud-Lott at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for McGregor, they are taking a road trip to take on Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
