Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Prep Comes Up Short

St. Paul's Prep lost against Heritage Christian Athletics back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Paul's Prep Lions received a blow as they fell 53-37 to the Heritage Christian Athletics Falcons. The Lions were down 43-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, St. Paul's Prep still got an impressive performance from Wyatt Tate, who went 9 of 20 en route to 24 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Tate a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Henderson, who posted a point in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

St. Paul's Prep now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Heritage Christian Athletics, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

St. Paul's Prep will face off against Tournament Opponent at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian Athletics, they will host Chisholm Trail Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian Athletics will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
