The Forks Spartans will play host again on Monday to welcome the Ilwaco Fishermen, where first pitch is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Forks: 3.3, Ilwaco: 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Forks stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They beat North Beach by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-0.
Meanwhile, while Ilwaco put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley. Ilwaco sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Pe Ell/Willapa Valley.
The result came thanks to Cannon Johnson's shutout, as he gave up just one hit and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Boston Caron was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, and a double.
Forks' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2-1. As for Ilwaco, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
