Baseball Recap: Rainier Beach Takes a Loss

Rainier Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to West Seattle. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 25-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Rainier Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for West Seattle, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rainier Beach will face off against rival Franklin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Seattle is set to take on their familiar foe Seattle Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
