Volleyball Game Preview: Pacifica Mariners vs. Marshall Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Pacifica Mariners and the Marshall Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pacifica comes in on six and Marshall on five.

Pacifica is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Oakwood 3-0.

Meanwhile, Marshall earned a 3-1 win over Norwalk on Thursday.

Pacifica better keep an eye on Harlem Castro. She was instrumental in Marshall's win, getting 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave Castro a new career-high.

Marshall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in five consecutive matches.

Pacifica's victory bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
