Recap: Natchez Trace Youth Academy vs. University School of Jackson Bruins
This season hasn't been kind to Natchez Trace Youth Academy, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were beaten by University School of Jackson 57-30 on Thursday. Natchez Trace Youth Academy has not had much luck with University School of Jackson recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University School of Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Foster, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foster has scored all season. Jacob Snider was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Natchez Trace Youth Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.2 points per game. As for University School of Jackson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.
Coincidentally, Natchez Trace Youth Academy and University School of Jackson will both be playing Tipton-Rosemark Academy the next time they take the court. University School of Jackson will head out to face Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Natchez Trace Youth Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
