Volleyball Recap: Block Island Comes Up Short

Block Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Portsmouth Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Portsmouth this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Block Island's record is now 0-12. As for Portsmouth, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2.

Coming up, Block Island will host Achievement First Providence at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Portsmouth has already played their next game (against Mt. Hope), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
