Basketball Recap: Mineola Falls Short of Tatum in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mineola can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 77-48 loss at the hands of the Tatum Eagles. The Yellowjackets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Mineola's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Tatum, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-2.

Mineola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tatum, they will take on Liberty-Eylau on Thursday. Liberty-Eylau knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully Tatum likes a good challenge.
