Basketball Recap: United Makes It Five in a Row at Home

United won the last time they faced Northern Cambria and things went their way on Friday too. The United Lions put the hurt on the Northern Cambria Colts with a sharp 62-41 win. The 62-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

United pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Northern Cambria, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United and Marion Center will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. United knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Marion Center likes a good challenge.
