Baseball Recap: Windermere Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oak Ridge last Wednesday, Windermere Prep came back down to earth. Windermere Prep came up short against the Belleview Rattlers on Friday, falling 8-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost three in a row.

Windermere Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Knight, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Belleview, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Windermere Prep will host Lake Buena Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Belleview, they will take on Lake Weir at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
