Soccer Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside managed to keep up with Lamar until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Westside Wolves came up short against the Lamar Texans, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Wolves in their matchups with the Texans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lamar, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Looking ahead, Westside will face off against Bellaire at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will take on Wisdom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lamar knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Wisdom likes a good challenge.
