Preview: Brewer Witches vs. Bangor Rams
Brewer and Bangor are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Brewer Witches will be playing at home against the Bangor Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Brewer couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The game between Brewer and Hampden wasn't particularly close, with Brewer falling 64-49.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Charlie Brydges, who scored 17 points. Logan Littlefield was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bangor was beaten by Portland 82-45 on Friday.
Brewer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bangor, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-1.
Brewer strolled past Bangor in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 64-50. Will Brewer repeat their success, or does Bangor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
