Gaston Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Victory Christian Center Kings. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Piper Riley paced Gaston Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Riley got some help from Peyton Hunsucker and her 14 assists. Riley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Gaston Christian's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Victory Christian Center, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gaston Christian will host High Point Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Victory Christian Center, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against North Hills Christian.
