Kalida had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Continental Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Continental scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Malia Romes paced Kalida's offense, picking up 14 kills. Romes got some help from Isabel Recker and her 14 assists. Recker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Kalida's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Continental, their loss dropped their record down to 4-5.

Kalida didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Ayersville on the 11th. As for Continental, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Pandora-Gilboa on the 11th.
