Baseball Game Preview: Austin Panthers vs. Irvin Rockets

For the second straight game, Austin will face off against Irvin. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Austin will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Irvin, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Adrian Frias was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Frias wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was James Castro, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
