Prospect Mountain waltzed into their match on Monday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Somersworth Toppers with a sharp 18-3 victory. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.
Alexis Wilson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
