Soccer Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

Apache Junction lost to Benjamin Franklin back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Prospectors lost 9-0 to the Chargers. While losing is never fun, Apache Junction can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Benjamin Franklin are ranked 36th).

Apache Junction is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13-2. As for Benjamin Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Apache Junction does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will be playing at home against Thatcher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
