Basketball Recap: Christian Collegiate Academy Starts off Right with Win over Hattiesburg Homeschool

Christian Collegiate Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 82-63 win over the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 62-40 by the end of the third, a deficit the Forerunners cut but never quite recovered from.

Christian Collegiate Academy was led to victory by Noah Davis and Tahj Hill. Davis posted 28 points, while Hill dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Those 28 points gave Davis a new career-high. Kenneth Dukes Jr. was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 17 points and five assists.

The contest was Russell's third in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tefari Edwards, who put up 11 points.
