Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Christian Panthers vs. Odessa Tigers + How To Watch

Valley Christian is 2-8 against Odessa since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will take on the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. Odessa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Valley Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Valley Christian got the win against Wellpinit by a conclusive 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Odessa took on Wilbur-Creston-Keller on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Tigers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Odessa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8, 25-23.

Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Odessa, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Valley Christian took their victory against Odessa in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score.
