Baseball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

The St. John's Islanders lost 7-1 to the Philip Simmons Iron Horses on Tuesday. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Jayne, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

St. John's now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Philip Simmons, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Coming up, St. John's will venture away from home to challenge Lowcountry Leadership at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Philip Simmons, they will welcome Covenant Day at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Covenant Day will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Philip Simmons surely won't give up without a fight.
