Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartford). They were the clear victors by a 23-3 margin over the Springfield Cosmos on Thursday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Cosmos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Serenitee Martel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
