Synergy Magnet K12 scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 72-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenacres Christian Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 80-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Greenacres Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brendan Daniels out in front who went 8 for 19 on his way to 24 points. Daniels has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jashad Hymes, who went 5 of 9 en route to 14 points and six boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Synergy Magnet K12 and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Greenacres Christian, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.
