Softball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jonesboro-Hodge on Friday, Carroll came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Simsboro Tigers on Tuesday, falling 23-7. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Simsboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Carroll by a score of 21-3 later that day.
