Baseball Recap: Sergeant Bluff-Luton Takes a Loss

Sergeant Bluff-Luton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sioux City East Black Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Black Raiders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-4 loss back in May.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Sioux City East, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sergeant Bluff-Luton beat the Black Raiders by a score of 3-2 later that day.
