Volleyball Recap: McDowell Takes a Loss

McDowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers.

McDowell's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, their win bumped their record up to 16-12-4.

McDowell and Philipsburg-Osceola could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Trojans will challenge Fort LeBoeuf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (232 vs. 56). Meanwhile, Philipsburg-Osceola (ranked 110th) will meet Hollidaysburg (ranked 13th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
