North Pontotoc is a perfect 3-0 against Vardaman since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to defend their home pitch against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. North Pontotoc has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 22 goals over their last three matches.

North Pontotoc had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Nettleton on Friday. The Vikings never let the Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Mary Crotwell was a massive factor in the win as she booted in six goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, while the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was Vardaman who was credited with the victory on Thursday. The Rams got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Shannon's three.

North Pontotoc now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Vardaman, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

North Pontotoc came out on top in a nail-biter against Vardaman when the teams last played back in January of 2019, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
