Volleyball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars, falling 3-0. The Redhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Monroe was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Central Academy of Technology & Arts' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Monroe still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Izoteco-Lopez, who had 19 digs and two aces. Sade' Robinson was another key player, getting 15 digs and two aces.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Central Academy of Technology & Arts, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
