Volleyball Recap: Reed-Custer Comes Up Short

Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peotone Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Peotone, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Reed-Custer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Herscher on the 14th. As for Peotone, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Coal City on the 14th.
