Soccer Recap: Newton vs. Pana
For the first time this season, Newton was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Pana Panthers finished up on equal footing with a 6-6 draw on Saturday.
With that draw, Newton's record moves to 5-2-1. As for Pana, they moved theirs to 2-7-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newton will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Robinson at 4:30 p.m. Newton is facing Robinson at the right time seeing as Robinson is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Pana, they will venture away from home to challenge Lutheran/Calvary at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lutheran/Calvary will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pana surely won't give up without a fight.
