Volleyball Recap: Chippewa Beats Norton for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Chippewa extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 4-0. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Norton Panthers. The Chipps were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Chipps were just returning the favor.

Bree Regan paced Chippewa's offense, picking up nine kills. Regan got some help from Maggie Fulton and her 12 assists. Regan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Norton fell to 2-1. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Chippewa since Saturday.

When it comes to explaining why Norton lost, don't look at Haley Sanderson. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and one assist.

Chippewa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Dalton on the 26th. As for Norton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Field on the 26th.
