Volleyball Recap: Versailles Extends Winning Streak to Three

Versailles waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Versailles took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Kiley May paced Versailles' offense, picking up six kills. May got some help from Rowan Schmitmeyer and her 12 assists. Hannah Luthman controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Versailles' victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Lehman Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Versailles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against New Bremen on the 27th. As for Lehman Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Shawnee on the 27th.
