Baseball Game Preview: Fulshear Chargers vs. Foster Falcons

For the second straight game, Fulshear will face off against Foster. Fulshear will face off against Foster at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Foster's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fulshear had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Foster put an end to it on Tuesday. Fulshear lost 9-2 to Foster. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Caden Hoff made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since March 1st. Another player making a difference was Luke Betencourt, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The win (which was Foster's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-10-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Fulshear, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 15-5-1.
