Football Recap: Westminster Schools of Augusta Falls to Georgia School for Innovation & Classics in First Game of Season

Westminster Schools of Augusta unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 14-7 to the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots on Friday. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 7-0 in the first quarter.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Westminster Schools of Augusta will take on Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, they will square off against Calhoun Falls Charter at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
