Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Takes a Loss

South Harrison suffered their biggest defeat since November 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tyler Knights, falling 3-0. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

South Harrison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tyler work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Kennedy Southern paced South Harrison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Southern got some help from Abby Louk and her 14 assists. Gabby Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Tyler, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Harrison will take on Elkins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tyler, they will head out to challenge Parkersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
