Soccer Recap: Narrows Plays to a Tie

While Narrows scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. Neither they nor the Holston Cavaliers could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Narrows' first draw of the season.

Nicholas Thompson and Jackson Leighton scored both of Narrows' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Narrows' record moves to 0-3-1. Meanwhile, Holston's record is now 0-1-1.

Narrows wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Rural Retreat on the 1st. As for Holston, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Honaker on the 1st.
