Volleyball Recap: Camden County Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Camden County had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Effingham County Rebels by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost three in a row.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Camden County sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 15-9.

Grace Pratt paced Camden County's offense, picking up six kills. Pratt got some help from Finley Morris and her ten assists.

Coincidentally, Camden County and Effingham County will both be playing Islands the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
