Basketball Recap: Blevins Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Blevins Hornets were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-48 to the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds.

Blevins' defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Guy-Perkins, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Blevins will square off against Nevada at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Blevins is facing Nevada at the right time seeing as Nevada is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Guy-Perkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
