Soccer Recap: Granbury Plays to a Tie

On Tuesday, neither the Granbury Pirates nor the Kennedale Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jacob Welch and Salvador Briones scored both of Granbury's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Granbury's record moves to 0-2-2. Meanwhile, Kennedale's record is now 1-2-2.

Granbury wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Centennial on the 11th. As for Kennedale, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lampasas on the 11th.
