Soccer Game Preview: West Field vs. Green Canyon

The West Field Longhorns will face off against the Green Canyon Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Field has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 6.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Green Canyon's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Ridgeline who was credited with the victory. The Riverhawks got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Green Canyon's four. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Green Canyon couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Gage Sorenson, which was the first he's scored this season.

Green Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for West Field, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
