Football Preview: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels vs. Ar-We-Va Rockets

The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels will face off against the Ar-We-Va Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gladbrook-Reinbeck comes in on eight and Ar-We-Va on three.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Macklin Clark, Chad Gutknecht, and Herron picked up one apiece. Herron has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ar-We-Va). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat CAM 66-6. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rockets had established a 54-point advantage.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's record is now 8-0. As for Ar-We-Va, their record now sits at 5-3.
