After a string of eight wins, James Logan's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

McKenzie Anderson paced James Logan's offense, picking up 11 kills. Anderson got some help from Leann Jung and her 18 assists.

Rocklin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Pabalate led the charge by getting 24 assists. Pabalate has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

James Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Rocklin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.

Looking ahead, James Logan will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mission San Jose at 6:00 p.m. As for Rocklin, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Oak Ridge on the 13th.
