Washington never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Ayden - Grifton on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 13-1 victory. Considering the Pam Pack have won eight matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Orr made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Emma Harris was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Honor Edwards was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Washington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ayden - Grifton only posted a batting average of .120.
