Basketball Recap: Gretna Dragons vs. Gretna East Griffins
Gretna was the 53-42 winner over Gretna East when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 55-52 on Friday.

Drayke Brown had an outrageously good game for Gretna East as he shot 53% from the field on his way to 21 points and six boards. Brown's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Winterboer, who posted nine points.
Gretna's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gretna East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
