Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Tabernacle Christian was feeling good fresh off their 92-14 takedown of South Pointe Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of the New Manna Christian Wind. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wind recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the loss, Tabernacle Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Blain Wallace posted 19 points. Wallace's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Wright, who put up nine points.

Leading New Manna Christian to victory were Noah Davis and Cass Baker. Davis went 13-for-27 en route to 29 points and three steals, while Baker dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten assists. Those 15 points gave Baker a new career-high. Jace Walker was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Tabernacle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for New Manna Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Tabernacle Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-50 win against Carolina Christian on the 18th. As for New Manna Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-37 victory against Southview Christian on the 18th.
