Volleyball Recap: Acadiana Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eunice on Tuesday, Acadiana came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Sulphur Golden Tors on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rams have struggled against the Golden Tors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Acadiana was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sulphur work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-15.

Acadiana's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Sulphur, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Acadiana will host Opelousas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sulphur, they will welcome Carencro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
