Volleyball Recap: Alhambra's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Alhambra and Mountain View squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Alhambra had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Alhambra was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-13.

Alhambra's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-16. As for Mountain View, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-17.

As of now, neither Alhambra nor the Mountain Lions have any future games scheduled.
