Basketball Recap: Briar Woods Find Success

Briar Woods won the last time they faced Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology and things went their way on Thursday too. The Briar Woods Falcons escaped with a win against the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials by the margin of a single free throw, 38-37.

Briar Woods found their leader in sophomore Sadie Auch, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nina Keltz, who posted four points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joise Clayton, who had ten points. Abigail Lee was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.
