Basketball Recap: Thornridge Piles Up the Points Against Chicago Washington

There's no place like home for Thornridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They really took it to the Chicago Washington Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-28 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Loss or not, Chicago Washington got some senior leadership from Chas Nelson and Anthony Briseno. Nelson posted seven points, while Briseno earned six points.

Thornridge's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Chicago Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Thornridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 89-72 loss against Kankakee on the 6th. Chicago Washington has also already played their next matchup, a 61-44 win against Whiting on the 9th.
