Cambria Heights came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Conemaugh Valley, but Madison Mccleester wouldn't allow it. The Blue Jays put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Mccleester, who had 17 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 17 or more digs the last six times she's played.

While Conemaugh Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Cambria Heights had strong showings from Elena Eckenrode, who had nine digs and two aces, and Claire Nihart, who had nine assists and eight digs.

Conemaugh Valley's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12-1. As for Cambria Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
